Brewster Fire and Police Departments Team Up For Rewarding Toys for Tots and Homeless for the Holiday Programs


Brewster Permanent Firefighters IAFF Local 3763, Brewster Fire/Rescue Association, and the Brewster Police PBA would like to thank all of our residents and visitors who contributed to our Toys for Tots and Homeless for the Holiday events. The generosity and support received from our community along with the exceptional work of our personnel resulted in providing much needed support and assistance to numerous  families looking to fulfill the holiday wishes of children with our community and the surrounding areas. Through your generous donations the following contributions were made:

  • Over 750 toys donated to the U.S. Marines Stuff a Bus event and Lower Cape Outreach Council.
  • Over 500 lbs. of non-perishable food donated to the food pantries at Our Lady of the Cape and Brewster Baptist Churches.
  • 3,000.00 In monetary donations that will be used to provide gifts, food, and a special Christmas dinner for six Brewster families and their eight children.

We would like to thank the many local businesses, organizations, and individuals who provided support to our members during the Homeless for the Holidays event. These charitable supporters include Laurinos’s Tavern, Eat Cake for Breakfast, Ocean Edge Resort, Wingate Assisted Living, Maplewood Senior Living, Barnstable County Incident Management Team, Barnstable County Department of Health and Environment, Brewster Dunkin Donuts, Our Lady of the Cape Church, Sweetwater Campground (Bryan Rylander), Dave Tubman, and Jim Baskin of Brewster Ace Hardware.
