Brewster Fire/Rescue Responds to Motor Vehicle Collision

On Friday April 6 at 5:56 p.m. Brewster Fire/Rescue was dispatched to a two car motor vehicle collision (MVC) with reported injuries at the intersection of Main Street and Villages Drive. Due to several other ongoing responses which severely limited available Brewster personnel a mutual aid Ambulance from Orleans was dispatched to the scene. Car 231 (Chief Moran) responded and on arrival reported a two car MVC with air bag deployment and moderate front end damage to one vehicle. One occupant of this vehicle was found seated in the passenger seat complaining of neck pain and an ankle injury. Four occupants of the other involved vehicle which had minor damage reported no injuries. Off duty Brewster personnel responded with Engine 239 to safety the vehicle and spread absorbent for a minor anti-freeze leak. Orleans Fire transported the patient to Cape Cod Hospital. All Brewster units were placed back in service at 7:40 p.m.
