Brewster Fire/Rescue Experiences Busiest Month on Record

Brewster Fire/Rescue responded to 444 incidents during the month of March making it the busiest month on record. While many of these responses or “runs” occurred during the two major storms that severely impacted the Cape fire personnel were also kept busy by a higher than average number of EMS responses. The monthly total translated to an average of 14.3 runs per day which is well above the normal 8.1 average.

The dedicated, professional, and tireless work put forth by the members of the department responding to the community’s requests for fire and EMS support during this extremely busy month should be acknowledged.
