Brewster Rescue/Pumper Update

Earlier this month Ferrara Fire Apparatus of Holden Louisiana began production of the departments new Rescue/Pumper which will take the place of both Heavy Rescue 241 and Engine 233. The new multi-purpose vehicle was designed to operate as a fully certified NFPA pumper and as a specialized unit capable of supporting operations at specialized incidents such as motor vehicle collisions, technical rescue responses, water rescues, and emergency medical calls. The photos below show the painted cab component of the vehicle that will be mounted on the chassis in the next few weeks. Delivery is expected by December 1.
