15th Year Anniversary of the September 11Terrorist Attacks

 

“WE PROMISE TO REMEMBER THE 11th OF SEPTEMBER”

 

The Brewster Fire Department will be hosting our annual 9/11 remembrance ceremony at Fire Headquarters on Sunday September 11 beginning at 1:00 pm.

 

The service is designed to honor first responders, civilian victims and their family members who were impacted by the terrorist attacks that occurred on September 11, 2001 in New York City, Washington D.C, and Shanksville, Pennsylvania.

 

Pastor William Kaliyadan of Our Lady of The Cape Church will offer the memorial invocation. Other participants will include the Brewster Police Department, Brewster Town officials, Orleans Fire Department, Orleans Police Department, local Scout groups, Veterans of Foreign Wars, and other regional emergency service organizations.  Musical performances will be provided by the Brewster Baptist Church. The guest speaker will be FDNY Honorary Battalion Chief and national fire service icon John “Jack” Murphy.
