On Saturday August 30 at 11:55 am the Brewster Fire Department responded to a three car motor vehicle collision with rollover at the intersection of Stony Brook Road and Run Hill Road. Upon arrival at the scene Chief Moran conducted a rapid size-up and found one vehicle on its roof and two other vehicles with moderate damage off to the side of the road. All occupants of the vehicles had self-extricated prior to the arrival of fire department units. A fire hydrant was also found to be knocked over during the accident. Due to multiple calls ongoing in Brewster the Dennis Fire Department was requested for an ambulance to transport one victim and Chief Moran requested the response of an engine company from the Harwich Fire Department to secure the vehicles and assist with patient care. Additional off-duty career and call Brewster firefighters also responded to the scene. A total of two patients were transported to Cape Cod Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The accident remains under investigation by the Brewster Police Department.
