Brewster Firefighters Honor Fire Department of New York’s (FDNY) 343 Firefighters Lost on 9/11

In a show of respect to the members of FDNY who perished on September 11, 2001 and to ensure our community commits the term “Never Forget” to memory Brewster Firefighters took the time to arrange several members helmets on the front bumper of our first due engine in a numerical pattern designed to pay tribute to the 343 FDNY firefighters lost during the terrorist attack on the World Trade Center on 9/11.

Our department and the residents of Brewster have committed to ensuring the lives of these heroic firefighters will be indelibly etched into the landscape of our community for many years to come.
